Socialism

I hear this strange noise, saying it is bad to nationalize banks that it is socialism. Huh? The first banks in America were not private ventures they were National banks, the Federal reserve is a Government bank, and this is bad? Then Corporation's which are by their own definition supposed to be a person as far as their treatment and yet we can't draft them or put them in jail? Today more then ever we need to realize that the reality of or world means that we can not just scream socialism and it is bad. If you look at capitalism and socialism as a political entity you will see that capitalism is really anarchy that the system will sort it self out and that the poor will eat the rich and become rich in a cycle while Socialism is the belief that things need to be done for the greater good. Now here is a list is it a socialist idea or a capitalist idea?

Medicare

Paying for energy production

public schools

Military

Farm subsidies

Research grants

Voting

Now the answers.

Medicare- Socialist providing for the greater good.

Paying for energy production - Socialist you are still helping the greater good.

Public Schools- Socialist, Capitalism says if you want your kid educated you pay for it

Military - Socialist, Capitalism says if you want protection you are on your own.

Farm subsidies - Socialist, this is the best example of the socialism helping it's roots.

Research grants- socialist, still for the greater good.

Voting - Socialist, capitalism says money speaks for you.

So in the end we are a socialist state in a lot of ways already, so what is wrong with the government taking control of one bank to help fix it for the greater good? Answer capitalism like anarchist are circling desperate to see there chance to get richer.

Two channels

There was a Russian comedian once that did a commercial for HBO he said that during the Soviet Union days they had two cable channels one had propaganda the other a KGB agent telling you to change back to channel one. Today our country's political system has become the same thing, you know that the Democrats are feeding us what we want to hear so we look to the republican party and get a hateful rant. In fear we run back to the Democrats, deciding that they are better then the KGB. It is rare to find a table that can stand without more then two legs today our country is faltering because we are missing a leg or maybe two. We need another party or maybe two more, we need new voices that do not have to bend to the will of two seated parties that control everything. If we do not then we face either a revolution to wipe them clean or one will find a way of controlling everything and we will see the rise of the American Caesar. Of course I vote for the revolution even though it is doomed to fail, not in wiping the slate clean but it would become as corrupt as what it was meant to replace. 

At play in the fields of darkness

There are creatures of the light that play in the fields of light blinded and unaware of the path of destruction they lay. Then there are creatures of darkness that hide in the darkness afraid of the light, but some of them are jealous of the the creatures of the light or angry from the destruction and they strike at them. There is a rare creature of the light that can see both fields and has learned to play in the fields of darkness for them is a lonely life because none of the others can understand the vision of the others. I am one of them and though I exist in the light a part of me is at play in the field of darkness, for me alone is the joy of seeing it all.
